Privacy at [UsergyAI].

Your privacy matters to us. This Policy explains how UsergyAI Private Limited ("UsergyAI", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects your personal data when you visit or interact with our websites, services, and related properties (together, the "Services").

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described here. Your use of the Services is also governed by our Terms of Use, which incorporate this Policy. Any capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Use.

We may update this Policy from time to time as our Services evolve. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on our Services, sending an email, or using other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Services after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

This Policy does not apply to:

  • third-party websites, products, or services which we do not own or control; or
  • users covered by a separate written agreement with UsergyAI (for example, enterprise or commercial data services contracts, which are governed by the terms of that contract).

This Policy covers how we handle personal data from:

  • visitors to our Services;
  • prospective and existing B2B customers; and
  • anyone who contacts us, requests samples, or subscribes to our updates.

Contributor data collected through our data-services platform (for example, voice.usergy.ai) is governed by a separate contributor-facing consent flow and privacy notice.

Information we collect

When you use the Services or otherwise interact with us, we may collect:

Contact details: name, job title, employer or company name, work email address, phone number (if provided), and any information you share in messages, sample requests, or form submissions.

Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device details, pages viewed, links clicked, referring URL, and session timestamps. We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies (see Cookies and similar technologies below).

Marketing and communication preferences: information you provide when subscribing to updates, downloading content, registering for webinars, or requesting marketing materials.

Data from third parties or public sources: we may obtain limited information from sources such as LinkedIn, trade shows, event registrations, or publicly available business directories, where permitted by law.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health, biometric, or financial-account information) through this website. If you need to share sensitive information with us for a specific engagement, we will describe the purpose and protections in a separate agreement.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • operate and maintain the Services, including keeping them available, secure, and working correctly;
  • respond to your enquiries and provide support, including fulfilling sample requests, answering questions about our data services, and sending proposals or statements of work;
  • send you updates, newsletters, or promotional communications about our services, where permitted by law or with your consent;
  • understand how you interact with the Services, measure marketing performance, and improve the user experience;
  • perform other legitimate business activities, including network and information security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcement of our agreements; and
  • comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and legal processes.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your explicit consent.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and certain third parties use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to:

  • remember your preferences and settings (for example, language or display choices);
  • analyze traffic and performance, including understanding which pages and content are most useful;
  • measure the effectiveness of our marketing and outreach; and
  • provide you with more relevant content on our Services or on other platforms.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features or functionality of the Services.

We may also use analytics, heatmap, or session-replay tools to understand how users interact with the Services and to diagnose technical issues. By using the Services, you consent to this data collection.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: for hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer-support tooling, payment processing (where applicable), and similar services. These providers are authorized to use your personal data only as needed to provide services to us and on our behalf, and are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Legal and regulatory compliance: where required to comply with applicable law, to protect our rights or the rights of others, to investigate fraud or security issues, or to respond to a government, court, or regulatory order.

Aggregated or de-identified data: we may share aggregated or de-identified data with partners, advertisers, or the public for marketing, analytics, research, or other business purposes. This data cannot be reasonably used to identify you.

Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, in which case your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you if a transaction occurs that materially affects your personal data.

We do not share your personal data with AI model training labs, advertising networks, or data brokers for their own purposes.

Data storage and retention

We store data on servers located in India and, where applicable, with reputable cloud providers whose data centers may be in other jurisdictions. Where personal data crosses borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted by applicable law.

We retain personal data for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal and tax obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When personal data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it in line with our retention schedule.

Your rights

In line with applicable laws (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in India, and similar laws in other jurisdictions), you may be entitled to:

  • know whether we process your personal data and the purposes of that processing;
  • be informed about the personal data we collect and process about you;
  • know the categories of persons with whom we have shared your personal data, the types of data shared, and the purposes of sharing;
  • access, correct, complete, or update personal data we hold about you;
  • request erasure of your personal data, including by deleting your account or contact record;
  • withdraw any consent you previously gave, where our processing is based on consent;
  • nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity; and
  • opt out of receiving marketing or promotional communications at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@usergy.ai. We may need to ask for additional information to verify your identity and the scope of your request. We aim to respond within 30 days and will tell you if we need more time.

Opting out of marketing does not affect necessary transactional or service communications, which you will continue to receive while your account or contact record remains active.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege role assignments, monitoring, and regular reviews of our vendors and internal practices. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is perfectly secure. We continually improve our security protocols to help keep your data protected.

If we learn of a security incident that affects your personal data, we will notify you in line with applicable law.

Children's data

The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us so we can investigate and delete the information.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Services, or legal or regulatory obligations. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above. If changes are material, we will use reasonable means to notify you, such as posting a notice on the Services or emailing you. Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
